During jury selection, they struck all the jurors that had information about the case. She doesn't agree that there was jury misconduct during the trial.
As for confronting witnesses, nothing was offered by these people Johnston mentioned in his motion. There is no confrontation issue.

He also is arguing that prosecution put in hearsay statements about nobody seeing any intruders.

Jackson filed a motion for a new trial based on several errors they alleged occured during trial.
Chief Judge Lars Anderson will first take up the motion and then proceed to sentencing, unless the judge grants a new trial. This is a typical motion when someone is convicted.
