The Bucs take down the A No. 7-ranked Pirates in a great non-district game. East Buc's only loss is to No. 10 North Linn, which Alburnett beat back in Week 1. Might we see some some entertaining postseason meetings between those three?

The Cougars take down No. 1-ranked Beckman, throwing Class 1A into even more chaos after five different teams got a first-place vote in this week's Gazette poll. This one had a dramatic ending, too, with a 2-point conversion stop sealing the win with no time left.

Nolan DeLong is already a 1,000-yard rusher

 

The Durant running back rushed for 1,591 yards last fall and has already surpassed 1,000 yards before the halfway mark of his senior season. His 55-yard TD run gives the 3-0 Wildcats the lead against 3-0 Wilton.

Linn-Mar excited to return home

 

Thursday night at Kingston Stadium, Linn-Mar improved to 2-2 with a 30-12 win over 4A No. 9 Cedar Rapids Washington.
