    Kaleb Johnson fuels second-half surge as Hawkeyes reclaim Floyd of Rosedale

    The Huntington Bank Stadium video boards displayed a warning before Saturday’s Floyd of Rosedale game.

    “We are monitoring storms that may be headed towards campus, please be aware,” the message said.

    In reality, the only storm that hit Huntington Bank Stadium during Saturday’s Floyd of Rosedale game was Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson's unstoppable running.

    The Hawkeyes outscore the Gophers 24-0 in the second half and will take the Floyd of Rosedale trophy back to Iowa City.

    Iowa outgained the Gophers 227-66 in the second half.

    Kaleb Johnson rushed for 206 yards and three touchdowns.

    Iowa won the turnover battle 2-0 with interceptions from Jay Higgins and Quinn Schulte.

    The Hawkeyes are now 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the Big Ten going into their bye week. Minnesota is 2-2, 0-1.
