Iowa's defensive line dominated this Troy drive. Brian Allen pushed running back Gerald Green back for a 4-yard loss. After a false start, Max Llewellyn sacked Matthew Caldwell for a 9-yard loss.
Kaden Wetjen muffed the punt trying to grab it on the bounce, but John Nestor dove on the ball to maintain possession for the Hawkeyes at their 42.

Brendan Sullivan's first completion at Iowa is a flip to Addison Ostrenga for a 2-yard touchdown.

Injury report
Kirk Ferentz mentioned that Iowa “got a couple guys that are limited in practice” earlier in the week.
“Hopefully they'll be ready by game time,” Ferentz said in his Tuesday news conference.
Ferentz’s wish appears to be mostly granted, as Iowa’s availability report for Week 3 against Troy lists few absences. The only new one is linebacker Kelby Telander, who is out for the season.
Wide receiver Seth Anderson and linebacker Jayden Montgomery are out.
